~ Jalan-jalan @ Jonker's Walk ~

Jonker's Walk... stayed at Baba House Hotel, very heritage feel. All the shops are really old and gorgeous looking. I had fun taking pictures of the old floor tiles with my feet. Brought Mag & Leslie around the area, they enjoyed themselves too. Ooh.. Leslie's Nikon D70s with flashgun & polarizer & lense... very HEAVY ahh but totally amazing! Wonder where can I see his photos... 
I particularly liked the nyonya cendol and nyonya asam laksa! Really nice & would come bring my mom try.. We bumped into Lawha & Lili and they belanja us makan! Wasey.. nice.
Met up sayang's gang from Melaka, they're nice bubbly people.

Time ~ lawha was buzzing everyone to be there early... 
There the 3 tables of UPMCC coursemates.. some 'uncles'  there, there's the pretty aunty, the lenglui table, the reserved for stomach table. Nice to see all so many of them again.. most of them unchanged in terms of physical appearance la..  tho I know I grow fatter

~ Launch of Visit Malaysia Year 2007 @ Lake Titiwangsa ~

Wow... you wouldn't imagined how sampat / crazy I can get. Go all the way to lake Titiwangsa to see fireworks?! Yes I did! Went to THE venue of the VMY2007 launch, with the Eye-On-Malaysia so prominently erected right in the middle of the lake Titiwangsa landscape.
Somehow we cornered ourselves to where all the photograph-enthusiasts were positioned, it was so packed with guys, tripods and SLR. Don't care but it was kinda intimidating for me to bring out my tripod and my running-out-of-battery prosumer S2IS, then squeeze my way through, trying to get a good view... without the 'dangling' decorative neon-blue bulb wiring obstructing my view. Then there's the occasional itchy backside photographers infront of me standing up thus blocking my picturesque view.
I thought those guys were journalist, maybe some were on duty, but I guess most of them were there for the fun of snapping great night landscape / firework pictures. Of course I also freaked out that one portion of the firework were out of sight blocked by tall trees by the lakeside. There were moments where my tripod was not firm, I can feel that either my hand or the camera moved, any micro movement could spell disaster for the superspeedy spellbound fireworks! With that I was controlling my self, using alot of concentration, like somesort of meditation, holdstill, except movement of the index finger triggering away...
*Backstreetboy's Drowning is playing in my head now*.. I was 'drowning' with fireworks pouring from the sky above!

Skipped chanting at you know where, and head downtown to KL with you know who, together with another gal friend.. atleast I saw the fireworks on time..

~ Heritage trial / x'mas celebration in Penang ~

sayang brought me on a heritage trial in Penang.. lotsa photography opportunity!  the sun was so blazing hot, but that's good for day picture..
atnight spent a little time with my Penang cousins & uncle Tan kids... unwrapping presents & such for x'mas celebration... not like they all know what's the true meaning of x'mas anyway?!
