~ Echoes of Buddhism II ~ The Concert in Penang ~

Yay.. well took me almost 2 weeks to publish these photos

So here's the quickie story:

Supposed to have 4 cars going, so that could fit more supporters from PJ/KL to witness the one-in-a-million Buddhist concert in Penang, but up until 2 days before the departure date, I only have 2 cars left So anyway, my car went straight to Penyayang Komplek, to hand i.gemz all their stuff. Then I got helpers to set up / jaga the INCOVAR counter for me, so I went for vegetarian dinner with my BM cousins who came all the way to island with their mom to watch the performance!

Of course it was a great show according to my cousins, who're not really exposed to Buddhist hymns, let alone contemporary style of hymns, in English .. wahlauegh... must be an eye opener for them. I'm glad they bought the igemz cd (original no copy!!) and enjoyed all the songs, esp BOMH. With that, my personal aim for this trip is achieved.

The other bigger goal for INCOVAR to reach out to more youths.. hmm, there were more aunties and really young kis..

wait a minute, so how was THE CONCERT? No comment la... I'm partly guilty for leaving Lee Meng alone outside jaga the counter while I happily trigger away my S2IS, silently complaining about the dodgy lightings effects that made all my pictures looked really

Then there's this 'girl', I dont know who is she, maybe the 2nd official photographer, who blocked most of my view to get a snapshot of the stage. She could stand so long infront, she's the very-bold version of me. Ok, my camera not power enough to show off by stand right in the limelight, infront of the stage, with the butt facing the entire audience, including the video recorder!!

The concert ended very late into the night, and I didn't know where / how was I going to head to the place that I'm suppose to sleep, non of my passengers knew how to go. So Michael Lim to the rescue! Thanks ya, for really layan my every single request.

Also thanks to the organiser for allowing us a 'big' space / booth for our roadshow - Sukhihotu & bro Raymond! Thanks to Doreen who'd given the best directions to me on the mobile phone, on how to reach the concert venue without feeling stupid. All the other Penangkia.. haiya...
