Finally made it to publish some shots taken from my Penang trip with my grandma, mom, dad and aunty. We met up with Michael who brought us around Penang, trying out nice food. By looking at my parents body size, you'll know they love to eat  talk abt Buddhist being 'moderate'.. have to teach my parents not to eat too much!!
From char-kuey-teow to LineClear nasi kandar, to cendol, to asam laksa.. you name, we tried it.
It was good to meet up with Nancy who's currently based in Penang, she's such a fast worker despite of her disability. Also met up with mpnck's cp friend, chinchin at her home 
We stayed at the Hydro Majestic hotel, which was alright.. I think I like the Northam Beach cafe the most.

Woke up early, take the MRT, get off at Raffles, eat McD!
Then head on to ACM to meet up with Cell for the Buddhist exhibition quickly.
Bus back to KL departing at 2.30!
I'll surely come back to Raffles place for photography!

Morning visited the KMSPKS and Cell brought us on a tour all around...
Lunch at Canele Patisserie - Chocolaterie in Robertson Walk...
Dinner at Crystal Jade Palace somewhere in Orchard Road...
Late night shopping at Robinson!

~ Kathina in SBS Taiping ~

Nice to be able to come all the way to Taiping to help sayang with the floral do, and then meet up with my 2nd ah yee for dinner . Then wait at the cemetery in the middle of the night (got lights la..) for 4WD to pick up for us to head up to SBS.
Saw a few familiar faces, namely Mabel, SanSan... even Siew Chan was there to sing the Sasanarakha song in chinese!  Each time I visit SBS, it feels like going for big exercise trip! If i were to be here for longer days, sure can lose weight.
Anyway, good thing my ahyee brought her friend along to join in for the early morning Kathina ceremony. Getting my extended family closer to the Dhamma...
The cool thing I saw was Bhante Aggacitta giving Dhamma talk right from the tree top!  *see my photo* We'll see if we'll come back again next year to help do the flowers now that myee had taught the SBS volunteers new style  .
